Automatic Post Thumbnails

Did you know that Elemental has built in support for post thumbnails?

Most premium themes have post thumbnails these days but Elemental takes things to extremes. Everything I can think of to create a thumbnail has been added.

The full list of places the thumbnail can be taken from is:

Images inserted into the post content
Images uploaded (and not inserted into the post content)
Images marked as 'featured' using the WordPress uploader
Images specified in custom fields (thumb and image are checked)
Embedded Youtube videos!

The method I am most proud of is the embedded Youtube videos. Post a movie trailer, or a film of interest, and the specified video thumbnail will be automatically loaded from Youtube.com.

For some added irony, this post doesn't have a thumbnail!
